A Taste Of New Orleans Food in Pittsburgh

If you haven’t seen it yet, a new restaurant opened in Market Square called NOLA on the Square.  They feature all types of true New Orleans Cuisine AND they have Abita on tap.  My wife and our two boys ate there two weeks ago and had a wonderful time.  The oyster poboys were out of this world good as was the gumbo.  The atmosphere was great and our server was very friendly.  True jazz laden interior and the music was wonderful as well. Since we have been enjoying great Cajun food for years (unfortunately only at our home) now we are excited to be able to take the T Line to Station Square.  We had the beignets for dessert, not traditional beignets, but nonetheless they were pretty good.  I haven’t had Abita Turbo Dog on tap since the last time I was down south.  If you haven’t tried NOLA on the Square, then you are missing out.
